About the company

You will work for a company that stands out for its business infrastructure services specialized in the management, custody and trading of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, NFT and digital currencies, all integrated into a single wallet. In addition, it has the support of being registered with the Bank of Spain to offer services related to cryptoassets.

It is currently in the process of expansion in Andorra and is looking for an experienced professional to lead its Compliance department within an innovative, technological and collaborative environment.

Mission:

As a Head of Compliance your role will be pivotal in:

Designing, implementing, and overseeing the compliance program, ensuring adherence to applicable local and international regulations, particularly in the financial and technological sectors, including cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
Acting as the primary liaison with both local and international regulators, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
Supervising the assessment of regulatory risks and developing effective strategies to prevent potential non-compliance within the organization.
Leading the compliance area and providing strategic advice to management on internal and external policies.
Ensuring the proper implementation of procedures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

What we are looking for:

University degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
5 to 7 years of experience in the compliance field within the financial sector, preferably with a background in banking, fintech, or cryptocurrencies.
Strong knowledge of European and international regulations related to digital assets (MiCA, Travel Rule, etc.), prevention of money laundering (AML), and personal data protection (GDPR).
High proficiency in Catalan, Spanish, and English.

You currently reside in Andorra.
You are able to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
You have the ability to convey technical and regulatory information in a clear and understandable way to different audiences, including management, internal teams and regulators.
You are able to anticipate regulatory risks and design long-term solutions, aligning regulatory compliance with the company’s strategic goals.
You can assess complex situations quickly and make informed decisions, even under pressure.

Nice to have:

Specific background in compliance, financial regulation or blockchain is an asset.
