You will be working for a tech company with over 15 years of expertise in Oracle database technology, offering opportunities for professional growth through involvement in challenging projects for IBEX35 companies and various international projects.
The company focuses on the implementation, optimization, and management of Oracle database systems, while also expanding its proficiency in other database management systems.
Mission:
As a DBA your role will be pivotal in:
- Collaborating closely with our team to provide the best solution for the client.
- Maintaining and enhancing the high standards of service provided by the company.
- Capturing and reporting of data in the highest possible quality.
What we are looking for:
- Over 10 years of DBA experience with Oracle.
- Over 10 year of experience with performance and application tuning.
- Proficiency in managing various projects for different clients simultaneously.
- Ability to define the most appropriate technical solution for each specific case.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within our dynamic technical team.
About you:
- You’re passionate about DB systems and have extensive experience with Oracle.
- You are willing to work closely with the tech team to provide the best solution for the client.
- You have experience performing tasks related to the performance and tuning of applications and databases.
- You have effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- You live near the Barcelona area and are willing to work on-site two days per week.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of the following Oracle tools: ODI, Exadata, Data Guard, RAC, ODA, Oracle APEX, PL/SQL.
- Experience with application tuning.
- Experience working with SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Programming knowledge, especially Python.
